So now you have your micro-controller, but what can you do with it? Learn about programming, analog sensors, and relays in this beginner class.

In this three-hour class we will:

Use the arduino, a thermistor, and a relay so that you can sense temperature and control a circuit that requires more than 5V, like turning on a fan when it gets too warm or a heater when it gets too cold.

When you leave, you'll have a breadboard, thermistor, relay and an extension cord that you can switch with digital devices like the arduino.

Don't forget to bring your Arduino microcontroller and your laptop with the Arduino environment on it.  It's available at http://arduino.cc/en/Main/Software.

Class taught by Liz Arum and Ryan Micallef
